These attached accessory structures are limited to one storey and a maximum height of 4.57 metres (15 feet). This limits how large and how high a composite deck attached to a house can be.\r\n\r\nConstruction Noise Regulation Bylaw No. 6063, 1992 (construction noise hours) applies to exterior remodeling work like building or resurfacing composite decks. Construction noise is allowed from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays, with no construction noise allowed on statutory holidays. Residents working on their own homes may do construction on Sundays and holidays between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., but this exemption does not apply to professional contractors like Paragon Exteriors.
