Paragon
A small exterior crack doesn’t stay small for long. Our wet winters push moisture deep into the wall assembly, and what starts as a hairline split can turn into bubbling paint or soft sheathing within a single season. Damage only gets more expensive the longer you wait.
This area also sees wear from summer sun and everyday bumps. Lawn equipment, kids’ bikes, and settling can leave dents and gouges that make the whole house look neglected. Getting those scars patched and blended keeps your home looking sharp.

Drywall Repair Services
When exterior drywall cracks, moisture can enter your home. Our drywall repair service stops leaks at the source. This protects your siding and structure from water damage.
We replace damaged panels and apply waterproof sealants. We make sure every joint is tight. This creates a barrier that can resist heavy rain and wind.
In Maple Ridge, steady rain and damp winters can harm exterior walls. A small crack can lead to rot and mold behind your siding.
Many homes have older exterior drywall that is not right for this climate. Our local teams can upgrade your walls for better protection.
Moisture-Resistant Board Installation
In Maple Ridge, choosing the right drywall board is important. We replace cracked exterior drywall with glass-mat gypsum sheathing. This type of board sheds water and resists mold better than paper-faced panels. It also stays stable during the wet winters.
For installation, we use corrosion-resistant screws and fiberglass mesh tape in a waterproof joint compound. We cover the entire surface with a fluid-applied air and water barrier. This barrier connects with existing flashings to stop wind-driven rain.
A repaired exterior wall must manage moisture from both outside and inside. We make sure the drainage plane behind your siding is continuous. The new barrier overlaps the old shingle-style to prevent water from wicking into the sheathing in Maple Ridge’s frequent rain.
Vapor-permeable coatings let the wall dry to the outside, which avoids trapped condensation. We seal every penetration—like hose bibs, vents, and electrical—with flexible sealant and backer rod. This keeps the air seal tight while allowing for temperature changes.
Maple Ridge Drywall Regulations
Maple Ridge’s Noise Control Bylaw limits construction noise from drywall work to 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday. No construction noise is allowed on Sundays or Statutory Holidays unless a specific exemption permit is granted by a Bylaw Enforcement Officer.
Drywall work that is part of building construction or alteration must follow Building Bylaw No. 8097-2026 and the BC Building Code. This includes rules about fire-resistance ratings, moisture protection, and structural provisions. If a building permit is needed, the work must also meet the rules in effect at that time.
Building Bylaw No. 6925-2012 governs the construction, alteration, and repair of buildings and structures. If drywall work is part of a larger alteration or repair that needs a building permit, it must comply with this bylaw and the BC Building Code.
